To redeem an eBook from the desktop:
First, navigate to the eBooks tab, and click on "Redeem a Code".
Next, copy/paste your code into the gray box and click "Submit Code".
Review the information displayed to make sure you're redeeming the correct book, then click the "Verify" button.
Lastly, click "Redeem Your eBook". Now your eBook will be stored in your eBook library.
To download your eBook to your desktop, click on the "Download your book" link on the redemption success page.
In order to open and read your eBook file on your desktop, you’ll need to download the Adobe Digital Editions software. If you already have Adobe Digital Edition on your computer, you may have to deactivate and reauthorize the account using your BookPal login credentials. BookPal’s eBooks are set up in the industry standard ePub3 format. If you would like to read on your Nook or Kindle, you can sideload the ePub3 files onto your Nook, but the standard Kindle eReaders only allow MOBI files.
