There are several ways to place an order with BookPal:

1. Online 


You can place an online order at www.book-pal.com. First, use the search bar or browse our menu to find the titles you are looking forOnce you have located the title(s) you are interested in, please enter the quantity and click "Add to Cart". 




To see a quick view of your shopping cart prior to checkout, hover your cursor over the orange "Your Cart" tab at the top right of the page. If you'd like to see your full cart, click on the "Go to Shopping Cart" link.




On the shopping cart page, you can review the titles you've selected, as well as calculate your tax and shipping and enter any coupon or gift card codes. From there, you can "Proceed to Checkout" by clicking on the orange button.




When you land on the checkout page, the first step is to sign in or create an account. If you already have a BookPal account, you can enter your login credentials. If not, you'll need to create an account in order to proceed with your order.


Next, you will be asked to enter your billing address. If you are paying with a credit card, you must enter the address where your bank statements are mailed. If you're paying with a purchase order, you will enter the address of the Purchasing Department. If you are paying with a check by mail, enter the address where your bank statements are sent for your checking account.


Check "Save in address book" if you would like to use this billing address for a future order. Check "Ship to a different address" if your shipping address is different from your billing address. Otherwise, check "Ship to this address".




Next, enter your shipping address. This can be a home or business address, but it cannot be a PO Box, as UPS will not deliver to a PO Box. If you submit a PO Box as a Shipping Address, your order will be placed on hold until we are able to contact you and receive and updated shipping address.



Next, choose your shipping method. For most titles, standard ground shipping is free for orders over $100 and will take an estimated 7-10 business days to arrive. If you need your order to arrive by a specific date, please contact us before or immediately after placing your order. If you have a tight deadline, we highly recommend selecting expedited shipping. Keep in mind that most orders require an additional 2 to 3 business days of processing time (from the date of order) before they are shipped. If you have a specific need-by-date please notify us prior to placing your order so we can make sure you've selected the correct shipping method to meet that date. If there are no expedited methods available, please contact a sales representative at 866-522-6657 or sales@book-pal.com. We will provide you with the expedited shipping costs and assist you in placing your order.

Next, choose your payment method. You can pay with a credit card, purchase order, check by mail or PayPal. Orders are not processed until payment is received. If you are paying with a purchase order or check by mail, we will notify you that your order is on hold until we receive payment. 


Please send purchase orders via fax at 866-522-1957 or email support@book-pal.com. Please include a valid email where you would like your order confirmation sent, as well as an authorized signature.

The final step is to review your order. Please be sure to review your order thoroughly, as orders are nonrefundable and nonexchangeable.




Once your order has been placed you will receive an email with your order confirmation number. You can then check the status of your order by logging into your account at www.book-pal.com. 


2. Over the phone 


We'd be more than happy to take your order over the phone. If you received a quote from our sales team, please provide the quote number. 


Please have the following information ready: the title(s) or types of titles you are interested in, the email address you would like the order confirmation sent to, your billing and shipping address, a need-by-date (if you have one) and your payment information. Once we have collected this information we will place your order! 


3. Sending a purchase order


If you would like to use a PO to submit your order, please fax or email a copy of your authorized PO to 866-522-6657 or support@book-pal.com. Please include a valid email address for correspondence. We will then create an order using your PO. Once we have processed your PO you will receive an order confirmation via email.
